Arvind Rajan

Arvind Rajan can be characterized as an energetic and highly intelligent young engineer in the field of measurement uncertainty evaluation & analysis, reliability analysis and probabilistic design optimization of engineering systems.
He graduated from Monash University with BEng (First Class Honours) degree in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering in 2014 at the top of his graduating class whereby he was named the Best Graduate (equivalent to a valedictorian). In 2015, he received a full scholarship to pursue his postgraduate study with the Faculty of Engineering at Monash University. He is currently in his final year of PhD study. Throughout the course of his postgraduate research thus far, Arvind has been largely instrumental in introduction of several novel measurement uncertainty estimation techniques and development of relevant software tools. Apart from his research activities, he has been also profoundly involved in delivery of specialist undergraduate program units including Industrial Instrumentation and Measurement Technologies, Advanced Engineering Data Analysis and Digital Systems with excellent teaching results and student feedback.
Arvind is an active Graduate Student Member of IEEE as well as member of the IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society (IMS) and its Technical Committee of Fault Tolerant Measurement Systems (TC-32). He has published 6 research papers with the refereed professional journals and 5 papers in peer-reviewed international IEEE conferences.
